Delusion and Ego in the Art of Comedy Ft. Stand Up Comic Joe Sib

Aaron Della Vedova, host of the podcast Chats and Tatts, welcomes local comedian Joe Sib to the show. Joe grew up in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California and had a unique upbringing due to living on a ranch. As a result, he had limited access to what other kids were listening to and he would cruise around with a little blue radio, listening to Abba and the Village People, Elton John, the Eagles, and Carly Simon. After his parents divorced, Joe began visiting his dad in San Jose and discovered a new world of punk music at a skateboard park. He was hooked!

The conversation takes us through Joe's career in music and his transition from owning Side One Dummy Records to stand-up comedy and how punk rock influenced the speaker's life. He. also delves into his love for the stage, the challenges he faces even today as a comedian, social media, the 'woke' movement and its impact on comedy, and invites you all to his upcoming headlining show in La Jolla, CA at the Comedy Club. This episode is FUN so get ready to laugh with the one and only, Joe Sib.
